Land Ahoy!

 

Year 2 have had a fantastic day cruising along the River Thames! They saw lots of the famous landmarks that they have learnt about in years 1 and 2 and loved the feeling of travelling on a boat! After a delicious lunch in the sun, they enjoyed finding out more about different boats and ships from the past at the National Maritime Museum.

 

 

Sweets, Singing and Smiles!

Year 2 have had an exciting week! They have been tasting sweets and chocolate to inspire them to write similes, making potions to help them learn about capacity as well as going to watch the fantastic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Muck, Mess and Mixtures Messy Play!

The children loved the launch of our new topic Muck, Mess and Mixtures! They enjoyed getting messy and experiencing different textures, smells and colours! Hopefully the children will be sparkling clean again by Monday!
